Office hour sessions are 30 minutes.
If you need longer, please book a One-on-One!

During Office Hours, students can ask questions and seek guidance from me for basic needs, from asana practice tips, to questions on dealing with injury, aging and illness in one's yoga practice, to how to do basic daily Ayurvedic self care practices.
My Office Hours also offer you an opportunity to ask questions and see if you'd like to set up a private one-on-one session to get more instruction or guidance. - learn more about private sessions on my One-on-One page.
I draw not only from my own nuanced and profound experiences as a Mysore-style teacher of close to 15 years, and Ashtanga practitioner of over 23 years, but also my lifelong scholarship and study of a wide variety of transformative, spiritual, insightful, challenging, edifying writing and thought, which I've earnestly processed and integrated along my journey.
From our conversations, I'll can help curate a path of growth and self inquiry for curious students, rooted in yoga practices, Ayurveda and Eastern spirituality, with practical strategies and practices tailored for your needs - not only through recommendations of books, spiritual texts, authors and essays, but also pointing students towards podcasts, art, music - and especially, other teachers and experts I know from my decades in the yoga world who can serve as resources for your journey.
I'll especially focus my curatorial services on guiding students towards talented BIPOC/LBGTQ writers, teachers and leaders.
My goal with Office Hours is to serve you directly, with wisdom and empathy, helping all of us collectively move beyond our current state of flux - that is imbued with much dissension and fear - into one of grounded, wise, empathic, harmonious coexistence. Because I've always sought not just to teach yoga, but to serve. Service has always furthered my own self-actualization and empathy.
