Welcome! Thank you for being here.
I am committed to offering the practice of yoga to all, with wisdom and lightheartedness, supporting and challenging students to develop the skills that help them reach their full potential as wise, compassionate human beings.
I was fortunate to be introduced to the roots of this brilliant Indian system of awakening during my teens, and ultimately started postural yoga practice in the 90's. After over a decade of practice and study, I began teaching in 2004. My passion for yoga, and my long-term study of the Vedic knowledge systems of yoga and Ayurveda, helps me share traditional practices with students who seek to develop a grounded and sensible yogic lifestyle.
I teach yoga with warmth, wisdom and practicality in the Hilltowns of Western Massachusetts, and hold a reverence and love for this special part of the world - the ancestral overlapping crossroads of three peoples: the Mohican, Nipmuc and Pocumtuc - where I live and serve as a steward of the land.
