I am committed to offering the practice of yoga to all, with wisdom, empathy and lightheartedness, supporting and challenging students to develop skills that can help them reach their full potential as wise, compassionate human beings.
I was fortunate to be introduced to the roots of this brilliant Indian system of personal wellbeing and awakening during my teens, and ultimately started postural yoga practice in the 90's. After over a decade of practice and study, I began teaching in 2004. My love for yoga, and my scholarship of its roots in Vedic tradition, helps me share traditional yoga with students who wish to develop a consistent, sensible yoga practice. I teach yoga with warmth, wisdom and practicality in the Hilltowns of Western Massachusetts. I hold a deep reverence and love for this special part of the world - the ancestral crossroads and summer lands of the Mohican, Nipmuc and Pocumtuc peoples - where I live and serve as a steward of the land.
If you're interested in practicing the kind of yoga that not only enlivens but enlightens, too, subscribe to my newsletter updates on upcoming classes and events:
